Well according to what Moze Radio and Weasel TV want us to believe. The Battle Of Champions is taking place. Last week it was reported how two of the most anticipated upcoming concerts, Battle of Champions featuring Radio & Weasel and Bebe Cool and another featuring Jamaican dancehall superstar Busy Signal were likely to be cancelled.

This was after it emerged that police had security concerns considering that both shows are slated to take place on the same day, 6th December in the same location and none of the organizers was willing to change date.

Battle of Champions is organized by Abtex Productions and Afro Beat is slated to take place at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds while Busy Signal at Lugogo Cricket Oval is organized by KT Promotions.

However, snoops have established that Uganda Police Force has approved the hosting of the

battle of champions. According to a document dated 11th November 2013 signed by the commander Kampala Metropolitan Police AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, police has approved the battle of champions at Kyadondo.

The letter titled ‘Hosting Of A Music Show At Kyadondo Rugby Grounds On The 6th December 2013’, explains that the Busy Signal concert has also been approved and therefore both shows will go on as planned. “A review meeting involving all the stake holders has been held in the office of the Commander KMP and it has been agreed that the police would do its best to police both shows since authorization has already been given” the document partly reads.

We have also learnt that organizers of both shows have been advised to with police in ensuring that all security precautions are taken care of to ensure that the shows are incident-free. In a related development, Bebe Cool has vowed to teach Radio & Weasel a lesson they will to remember by lyrically beating them hands down like he did to Nigerian singer D’Banji two weeks back.
