Star singer Dr. Jose Chameleone’s One Million concert has been given a major boost by top businessman Charles Mbiire after he bought a platinum ticket at shs10 million shillings. A platinum ticket for the charity gig set for tomorrow at Serena Hotel is worth shs1 million but Mbiire, a renowned philanthropist, paid shs10 million in support of Chameleone’s great cause. The One Million One Man experience is set to raise money to help people of Karamoja who are in urgent need of clean water. And Mbiire is just one of many city businessmen who are expected to grace the event tomorrow evening.
The singer (Chameleone) yesterday during a press conference at Liquid Silk in Bugolobi revealed that the show would kick exactly at 8pm. With Minister of Karamoja and Uganda’s first
“My performance will be for three hours strictly in two segments. I will perform all my songs from when I started singing in 2000 to 2007. I will then go for a fifteen minute break before I step on stage to take you through my songs from 2008 to now,” Chameleone told journalists.
Elvis Sekyanzi, the CEO of Silk Events, the company behind the stage, assured everyone that the One Million charity do will be the best music event in Uganda. He urged Ugandans to come through and support legend Chameleone’s cause. The event is sponsored by Pepsi, Club beer and Sms One.
