BUGANDA ROAD Court has convicted former Sports Club Villa manager Chris Mubiru of sodomy.
Mubiru has been battling sodomy related charges since 2013.
And ever since the charges, the football manager has always denied the charges of having carnal knowledge against the order of nature. He has been accused of sodomising one Emmanuel Nyanzi in Mengo, RubagaDivision in Kampala in December 2009.
Presiding Chief Magistrate Olive Kazaarwe today ruled against Mubiru who could now face up to 18 years in jail.
However the magistrate dismissed another case against Mubiru involving one George Oundo.
Mubiru allegedly fled the country years ago after nude photos and videos from a stolen laptop were published in a local newspaper and showed him allegedly having sex with young men, some of whom were his players at football giants Villa.
Mubiru has been remanded to Luzira prison until September 18 as he awaits sentencing.
