MUSICIAN DR. Jose Chameleone over the weekend, held his 37th birthday celebrations at Plus250 Lounge and The Mirror Hotel’s Class Club in Kigali Rwanda.
The singer kicked off his anniversary celebrations with a performance at Plus 250 Lounge on Friday night during which he and DJ Pius, a Rwandan singer, launched the video of their new song Agatako.
Overwhelmed by the turn-up and the love shown by his fans, the music star broke down and shed tears of joy, confessing he felt that Rwandans treated him like one of their own.
“I am overwhelmed by this to be honest, look at me,” Chameleone said.
At the height of excitement, he grabbed a bottle of whiskey and poured shots in fans’ mouths. He alsocut the cake and shared with revelers.
He was flanked by DJ Pius, Big Fariouz and Alex Muyoboke. Chameleone performed a few of his old songs and other popular Ugandan hits before taking to the decks to show off his deejaying skills.
People turned up in big numbers for Chameleone’s birthday parties.
The Leone Island star will now embark on a United States tour that will see him perform in Dallas, Minnesota, San Diego, Missouri And Arizona starting 25th May.
