BUSINESSMAN HAMIS Kiggundu, known as Ham, has rejected $1.5 million (approximately Shs5.5 billion) from tycoon Ceaser Mulenga, the self-proclaimed King of Kisoro for his posh house.
Just yesterday we told of how the young businessman was choking on a $60 million loan from various banks and had, as a result, put most of his buildings, including his plush home, on sale.
According to sources Mulenga, who owns a string of businesses including St. Augustine University, has offered Ham $1.5 million. However Ham rejected the offer, insisting on $5 million (around shs17 billion).
Ham’s impressive pad sits on five acres ofland facing Lake Victoria.
The house has 25 bedrooms, a 27ft x 61ft master suite with baths, 82ft customized swimming pool, boat facilities, screening room, state-of-the-art gym, wine cellar, full spa, gaming room, automatic gate and garage for several cars in the arranged motorcade, according to close pals.
