Xclusive UG can confirm that BBS, the official Buganda Kingdom television, have offered Nakazibwe a whopping shs6 million a month to quit Serena Conference Centre based NTV, owned by Nation Media Group (NMG).

According to a letter seen by this website, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi’s BBS TV

wants Nakazibwe as a news anchor, as well as training other news anchors.
Once she accepts the shs6 million offer, she will also be entitled to Shs200, 000 worth of airtime, insurance for herself, husband and two biological children, Shs150, 000 fuel and 21 days paid annual leave.

However it is not clear whether she will accept the tabled offer. Xclusive UG can confirm that a similar offer was first tabled for another NTV star anchor Frank Walusimbi but he turned it down.
BBS TV has been on a major recruitment drive as it tries to eat into rival Bukedde TV market.
