Lubaga South MP Kato Lubwama could be set to vacate his parliamentary seat anytime soon.
The comedian has lost the case in which his academic qualifications were being challenged.
Consequently, Justice Margaret Oguli-Oumo of the High Court has allowelold Lubaga South voter Habib Buwembo tofile an election petition to boot the portly legislator from the 10th Parliament.
Habib ran to court to challenge Lubwama’s academic credentials arguing that he (Lubwama) had miserably failed O level.
Now Lubwama has been ordered to pay Buwembo shs30 million as damages.
Speaking after the ruling, Isaac Semakadde, Buwembo’s lawyer, could not hide his excitment.
“By April fools day next year, there shall be no more fools in Parliament,” – Buwembo’s lawyer Isaac Ssemakadde.
