Having missed out on “Africa’s Oscars” on 4th March in Lagos, Nigeria, it seems like a millennium miracle is yet to be fall Ugandans as they have got to brace themselves for British-Ugandan writer and actor who is set to take the Hollywood by storm.
Born on 8th May 1989 in London, 27-year-old Daniel Kaluuya, son of Ugandan immigrants, on 17th March is set to premier a psychological thriller trailer titled “GET OUT” in the U.K and Ireland.
Kaluuya and Alison Williams, who feature as Chris Washington and Alison Williams took the starring role as the lead actors of the comedy horrorfilm.
Kaluuya, can be recognised from UK TV appearances in the likes of psychoville, Black Mirror and Ruddy Hell!
Jordan Peele best recognised for his acting and comedy work, most notably in sketch show Key and Peele co-masterminded and directed the film.
The movie was released out in America on 24th February and scored a scarcely unbelievable rare 100 per cent on review site Rotten tomato and enjoyed an extraordinary opening weekend at America’s box office of $33.4 million, when only $20 – 25 were expected.
When Kaluuya, was interviewed in an x magazine and asked how long it took, he answered that he had to work on the script for two years (2012 & 2013) then it took Jordan five years to pen Get Out.
