TALENTED MUSICIAN Winnie Nwagi could be set for a sensational exit from record label Swangz Avenue, Reports claim.
According to information doing the rounds, all is not well between the singer and Swangz management led by Julius Kyazze and Benon Mugumbya.
Reports circulating indicate that the two camps fell out recently with the label management accusing the singer of indecency.
“Swangz Ave management is not really happy how Nwagi conducts herself in public especially her dress code. They have had many complaints and as a corporate brand associated to top corporate entities in the country, they believe Nwagi is affecting their business,” one report claims.
The bummy star has performed at many high profile functions, thanks to her management Swangz Ave. However some guests at the functions have been left unimpressed with the way she dresses.
“Many guests would prefer a decent Nwagi, not a thigh revealing one,” we are told.
A heated argument brewed up when management brought to attentionthis matter.
“She did not take it so well, she was bitter and felt despised after all the money she’s made them,” the source further said.
But to spill out her anger, Nwagi rushed to social media and revealed a phone contact the public should call in case of bookings. In the message she wrote that anyone willing to book her should specify the way they want her to dress.
Kyazze and Benon were left unimpressed by her action. “They took it as ridicule,” the source adds.
Now reports from Swangz H/Q in Muyenga indicate the singer could be looking at an exit plan. Lately she has been spotted various times in the company of Swangz Avenue rival manager Nisha Bridgette, who has managed various entertainment acts that include Jamal Wasswa, Deejays Slick Stuart and Roja.
Another star singer, Irene Ntale, quit the label just late last year.
Meanwhile Nwagi’s Facebook profile still shows that she is affiliated to Swangz Avenue.
