During his keynote address after he was conferred with the award which he termed as a Lifetime Achievement, Ruto slummed the old adage that time for youth leadership was coming ‘tomorrow’.

him.

The talk on democracy, human rights and lobbying for the release of Uganda’s celebrity MP Bobi Wine who is still in painful detention punctuated the reactions  as reported by the Kenyan local digital website tuko.

Richard Sure @RichardkSure Kindly DP remind Museveni that even Mugabe is powerless today…

Leone Mauro @jay423k While in Uganda, tell @KagutaMuseveni to respect the opposition. His legacy will squarely depend on how he handles @HEBobiwine . Failure to which he will be thrown out of Uganda by people power. Change is in the air. #FREEBOBIWINE
Omoding Dan @opamade11 That honour coming from a country that brutalises young people rather sheer abuse of of democracy n human rights. That is no honour Mr. D.P. #FREEBOBIWINE n other detainees held incommunicado
