It was not a street troll to have miss Uganda 2018-2019 crowned. Contestants had to go through a series of competitions to get the finalists.
The grand finale came and 22 year-old Quiin Abenakyo beat 22 contestants to take the crown of Miss Uganda 2018/2019.
The Business Computing student was crowned Miss Uganda and will be representing at the Miss World beauty pageant in China this come December.
Added to winning the beauty crown, Quinn was prized with a Toyota Wish, a trip to the Netherlands, having a treat at Pineapple Bay in Bulago Islands and a one-year gym session at Sheraton Hotel Kampala together withthe first and second runner up, Patience Martha Ahebwa and Trya Margach respectively.
The trio have also won themselves scholarships at the Uganda Aviation school that will include, among others, cabin crew training, customer care for airlines, aviation security and of course ticketing.
Sandra Khan and Nanziri Elizabeth were the other two of the top five finalists at the Miss Uganda 2018-2019 beauty contest.
Who Is Quiin
She is a Makerere University Business School student doing a bachelors degree in Business Computing.
“My mother influences me to be a better person. She is kind and compassionate and I always want to do her proud.” Is what Quiin said when asked of what inspired her to participate.
