Kato Lubwama insists the biff among two of Uganda’s heavyweight musicians has helped elevate the arts industry to the political high table.

“I’m happy Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine are on opposing sides in the political space. Because of that, the arts
No Banner to displayindustry has been dominating news in the country. This in the end is good for us in the arts,” Lubwama said.
Meanwhile the legislator has labeled promoter Abbey Musinguzi alias Abtex a confused man.
This comes after Abtex led a number of music and concert promoters to Tourism state minister Kiwanda Suubi to protest Andrew Benin Kibuka’s involvement in the compensation of promoters of Bobi Wine events.
Concert organisers were reportedly paid Shs1 billion as compensation for money lost.
Speaking to the media, Lubwama labeled Abtex confused, poor, and a nobody.
“Abtex should respect Kibuka. First of all Kibuka is bigger than Shs1 billion, he should be respected,” Lubwama is quoted.
