A Ugandan gay activist based in the United Kingdom is feared to have been abducted by security operatives.
Simon Sendawula was allegedly arrested a few days ago after leaving Glory, a popular gay bar in Dalston East London and his whereabouts are still unknown. He has been a known sympathizer and People Power activist on top of being a known gay activist. He left Uganda a few years ago after being disowned by his family and colleagues.
Sendawula is believed to have relocated to the UK after threats on his life over his homosexuality.
Snoops understandthat the youthful man went into hiding in the United Kingdom with his yet to be identified boyfriend after security operatives had been said to be trailing him over links to People Power. However we could not independently verify this.
Close pals say he has been avoiding his home and sleeping with friends and in bars as opposed to going home. It is alleged that he was a top recruiter for youths in schools in Kampala and was almost lynched by an angry parent before he escaped to the UK.
More details as they come in…
