Club Amnesia is closing shop, eight years after rocking the city centre.
According to director Dr. Innocent Nahabwe, the night spot will host it’s clients tonight to celebrate the last day in business.
Business has been slow lately, Nahabwe adds.
“Those who have read my book know my view about business. Business is just business. We should, as business owners, know the trends of our industry is taking and if possible anticipate the direction our consumer habits are taking.
We realise that in the nightclub business, everyone is drinking from near their homes -mostly in open spaces. Closed bars are phasing out.
We have therefore, taken thestep to close Club Amnesia w.e.f 2nd August 2019.
Tonight, will be our last party!
We are grateful to you our customers, for keeping us in business for 8 Years. Ever since we opened, the number of similar businesses that have opened and closed are uncountable.
We have remained open daily for 8 years, because of your support. We thank you!
We have hosted some of the craziest parties this town has seen. We hosted all the top artistes and those starting out. We have birthed many careers and given a platform to so many.
We have hosted many Kasikis, sending hundreds of you to your marriage. Some of you have found love here while others have lost love in the same place. So many memories.
We must celebrate all that tonight,” Nahabwe told this website.
