For over three months the producer has been battling with the injuries caused by thugs who beat him when he was moving from work at Jah Live studios heading home in Makindye.

At first it was believed to be a usual robbery case, masterminded by kifeesi.

But with time it became evident this was more than just a robbery.

Nothing was taken from Kumapeesa.

The thugs wanted him dead.

Police has never released a statement regarding the matter.

In fact it is claimed months ago, Kumapeesa’s food was laced with poison in an attempt to end his life.

Thankfully the evil plot was foiled.

Now rumors doing the rounds indicate a top male musician wanted Kumapeesa

dead after he allegedly slept with his wife, also a celebrity.

We are told Kumapeesa was allegedly banging the musician’s wife since December 2016.

When he (singer) found out, he warned Kumapeesa off his wife but in vain.

As a result, the furious singer hatched a plan to discipline Kumapeesa.

He hired goons to ‘discipline’ him.

Its further said that the singer tried poison the producer while he was in hospital to kill evidence.

“He knew Danz could expose him once he fully healed. He badly wanted him dead,” a source revealed.

The producer, 25, will be laid to rest tomorrow at his ancestral home in Kabanyoro in Gayaza.

Meanwhile tributes for the talented composer continue to pour in.

Bebe Cool wrote: “Sad news this morning as Danz Kumapesa gives up on the fight for life, RIP.”

“Gone too soon my brother Danz Kumapesa. Rest in peace Brother. I’m speechless I thought you gonna come back R.I.P Danie. You will always be remembered,” Kenzo said.

Kumapeesa is known for producing local hits such as Musawo by Winnie Nwagi, Yo Sweet by Rema Namakula and Bebe Cool’s Mbozi Z’amalwa.
