A source tells Xclusive UG that Capital Radio bosses William Pike and Patrick Quarcoo are secretly shopping for a new General Manager as they look to part ways with Caroline Mukidi Wandera. Just a few days back, we told of how over shs200 million had gone missing from the Kisementi based radio station since 2009. Now the bosses want to get rid of most of the station managers. Already the station accountant Raymond Yiga has been shown the exit over the same issue. An insider source reveals that Pike and his business partner Quarcoo are secretly investigating Mukidi for loss of funds. Though it is more likely the bosses won’t directly implicate Mukidi in the loss of the money, they are not happy with her that such a big sum of dime can go missing and she doesn’t notice. Xclusive UG has also established that they (Pike and Quarcoo) are closely working with one Dona, a former accountant at the station who was fired my Mukidi. “She is their whistleblower,” our source noted. According to the source, Dona has intimated to the bosses that Mukidi uses company money for personal issues. Dona has also accused Mukidi of using the company carfor personal reasons like driving relatives are town the car is supposed to do company work. At first Mukidi had a Toyota Rav 4 as her company car but lately she has a Toyota double cabin. Lately Mukidi has been engulfed in problems. The Kenyan lady- who earns shs7 million (net) at Capital FM- had her house attached by Housing Finance bank for non-payment of a loan. The house in Ntinda was advertised in the papers. And because of her problems, she is rarely at her work station, something that has greatly concerned Pike. According to our insider, Mukidi always reports to office at 11am and by 1pm she has disappeared. And this coupled with the loss of funds from the station, Pike is secretly investigating her. A source tells us that he is also looking into her bank accounts. She has five bank accounts in Crane bank, dfcu, Standard Chartered, Barclays and KCB. Caroline Mukidi Wandera, who is a Kenyan, came to Uganda in 1994 as an expatriate working with Scanad Group. She later left Scanad and started her own company, Prestige Marketing before joining Capital Radio Limited.
