Police chief Kale Kayihura has suggested that all girls and women who are in relationships in Entebbe and Nansana municipalities be registered as a measure to ending the murders currently ongoing in Wakiso district.
“All girls and women in relationships in Entebbe and Nansana must be registered,” the police chief told residents of Katabi inEntebbe Thursday.
Kayihura says cheating is one of the causes of Wakiso women serial murders that has seen over 23 women brutally killed in the last 4 months in Wakiso district.
Kayihura said although he doesn’t know how this will be done, it must be done.
He revealed that households in Entebbe and Nansana have a long history of violence.
He asked parents with girls in relationships to constantly engage them so as to detect ‘problems’.
