MUSICIAN EDRISA Musuuza, commonly known as Eddy Kenzo, insists he is his own competition in Uganda since all other singers are below his standards.
Speaking to the media recently Kenzo revealed he is now working on leaving behind a solid legacy.
” I do not think there is anyone else doing better than I am. This is my time to shine. Tomorrow there will be another fresh artiste doing great things. But right now I am the best,” the Sitya Loss star is quoted.
The singer further claimed that star Nigerian superstars have been begging him for collaboration songs for sometime now.
The singer already has a number of collabos with Nigerian stars most notably Patoranking, Niniola and Kcee.
He also revealed that he is working on building a label to promote young and upcoming talent.
“Eddy Kenzo is my competition. I want to better myself. I want to leave a legacy. At some point in my career, I want a label where I will be promoting young talent. I have so many goals. Today, I am already big, I am making money,” he concluded.
Eversince he released his first song Yanimba alongside Mickie Wine in late 2000s, Eddy Kenzo has been in fine form releasing various catchy songs that have made him a household name.
He has won multiple awards, most natably a BET award as Best International Act- Africa a few years ago.
However he has been accused of arrogancy lately.
