MORGAN HERITAGE a renowned Jamaica Reggae Band is set to perform in Kampala come Holly Thursday April 13th, 2017 at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Their show will be kick starting the Easter Weekend. The multi award winning band of five sisters and brothers formed in 1994 will be performing in Uganda for the first time since the bands formation.
According to a source close to the organizers, all is set for the band to jet in for a ‘mega’ concert.
“Our boss has been in the US to discuss all plans with the band’s management. Everything was concluded and I have seen the paper work,” said a source who preferred
Morgan Heritage who won the 2015 Grammy Awards in the best Reggae Album Category for their album “Strictly Roots” These have produced over 17 albums.
The group which has sold out crowds in Europe and the entire world wherever they have performed is known for hits like “perfect love song, Tell Me How Come, You don fi dread, By the River Down by the River, A man is still man, Tell me how come, Wash The Tears, Ready Or Not, Don’t Haffi dread, Talkin’ Bout War, Best friend” among others.

Morgan Heritage is a reggae band formed in 1994 by five children of reggae artist Denroy Morgan, namely Peter “Peetah” Morgan, Una Morgan, Roy “Gramps” Morgan, Nakhamyah “Lukes” Morgan, and Memmalatel “Mr. Mojo” Morgan. In two decades, they have had a number of successful reggae albums.
