The new look and posh casino located on Buganda Road next to Watoto Church Central treated over 400 guests including the media to a special red carpet night punctuated with sumptuous food and favorite drinks on Saturday night.

The Chief Executive Officer Mr. Salim Karmali says the rebranding was necessitated by the ever changing face of Kampala’s entertainment industry, and trying to offer more to clients who enjoy playing casino games and love good fun entertainment and delicious food.

Oriental Fire Dance group from South Africa entertained the guests and will be performing for a whole month in the casino. Our very own Lillian Mbabazi and the Sundowners performed as well.

Oriental Fire is a collaboration of dancers from all over the world who share a passion for belly dance, fire shows and Bollywood dance and wish to share the beauty and energy of the amazing dance forms and the cultures they come from.

The casino introduced the New Full House Card room which is the first dedicated card room to the sport Texas Hold’em, which is currently one of the world’s fasting growing competitive sports. The card room was opened with a 30,000,000 shilling guarantee poker tournament where players competed against one another for their share of the prize pool.

The Full House Card Room also launched the first poker league in Uganda where players competed in regular weekly tournaments to be crowned the Full House Champion at the end of the league and a chance to compete in an international poker event with a 1million dollar prize.

As Texas Hold’em is still a growing sport in Africa the Full house Card Room will also be offering free tutorial tournaments every week to introduce players the game and how to compete and win and the highest levels.

 

The Casino will open every day of the week from 2pm to 4am.
