Guests to the vintage concert were treated to an unforgettable cocktail experience at the well-set Uganda Waragi bar where master mixologists delivered mouth-watering cocktail menus till late.

With doors opening as early as 6pm, it was full house at the Serena Ballroom by 7pm as opening act Kabuye Sembogga took to the stage. Performance after performance, the artistes of the night did not disappoint. Emcee of the night, Andrew Kyamagero, delivered well on his promise to keep the crowd entertained – and that he did. Every time he stepped on stage,

his jokes had the entire audience in fits of laughter.

The highlights of the night were Ndagire’s Ansisitira and Afrigo’s Olumbe Lw’Obwavu that had the entire crowd on their feet singing along word for word; and Rachel Magoola’s twerking during her performance of her famous hit, Obangaina.

The concert was well attended with notable faces like General Katumba Wamala, socialite Jack Pemba and celebrated music artistes; Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Irene Ntale and Lydia Jazmine among others.

Tugende Mu Kikadde was indeed a true celebration of Ugandan music.
