The Permanent Secretary/Secretary to Judiciary, Dr Pius Bigirimana, has revealed that the twin towers will be ready for occupancy by March 2023.
The towers will accommodate both the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal.
“The realistic date is March 2023 (same month) when the construction started. March will mark three years which was forecasted,” Dr Bigirimana said.

He added that the Supreme Court tower is on schedule being that it’s 90 percent complete while the Court of Appeal building is at 70 percent.
According to the Judiciary’s Accounting Officer, the pending works include installation of lifts, air conditioning systems, ICT infrastructure, firefighting systems, and interior design furnishings.
Ongoing is the tiling of floors and walls, plumbing, plastering, and fixing of electrical conduits.
When complete the towers Amenities will provide various necessary amenities at the Judiciary Headquarters including customized courtrooms, two basement floors for parking 226 vehicles, chambers for the justices, a gym, a restaurant and a conference hall among other facilities.
