A school for sales, marketing and media advertising is set to open in Ntinda, a Kampala suburb.
SMARI Institute will be officially opening its
doors to the public, it has been announced.
SMARI aims at empowering Africa’s youth, through innovative courses created to
develop their skillsets for a better Africa.

“We facilitate opportunities for the youth regardless of background; to discover
and express their abilities and skillsets through purposefully designed courses,” a press statement reads.
Over twenty courses will be offered at SMARI.
They include; The art of public speaking,
career transition, Emotional and personal development, digital editing and
marketing, Acting, Career Transition, Creative Writing & Story Telling, Customer Service, Digital Marketing, Djing, MCing & Veejing, Emotional and Personal Development, Events Management, Hospitality Management, Multi Media Production, Photography and Photo Journalism, Professional Barrister, Promotions and Brand Management, Public Speaking, Radio Presenting & Production, Sales and Marketing, TV Presenting & Production, Video and Graphics Editing.
The institute aims at Empowering Africa’s youths through innovative courses created to develop their skillsets for a better future for Africa.
SMARI institutes’ aim is to induce the commitment of our educators in giving un-paralled education with quality and innovative ideas.
Their education technology reflects the most modern trends and researches in education to make the academic community stay current with the new trends. Our ultimate goal of the journey is breeding a dynamic, visionary and creative younger generation.
According to their website, their purpose is to facilitate opportunities for youths regardless of background, to discover and express their abilities and skillsets through purposefully designed courses.
The institute will approach this through practical experience delivered by industry players to give the youth a true experience of the work environment ahead of them.And according to the proprietors, the best coaches in the field have been selected to impart knowledge to the youths with a passion in the same field.
“They are very innovative and experienced thus will skill Africa’s youth for a better tomorrow,” the statement further reads.
These industry heavyweights include: Andrew
Muwenda, Aggie Konde, Tonny Otoa, Phillip Luswata, Dave kazoora, Daniel
Ibanda, to mention but a few.
They further explain: “We have a catch. Through our partnership with Motiv and innovation village, SMARI is giving out scholarships to all our new students for the entire course of three months; don’t be left out on this serendipity.
SMARI has a job center which can be found on their website, where you can post
and hire different services like mc’s, deejays, video and production editors and so much more.”
SMARI is located at the innovation village in Ntinda.
