Residents of matugga have confirmed that Kule is a resident of Maganjo –kagoma and a health practitioner in one of the big health centres in Kampala . However, they didn’t know much about his private life until the Sunday incident which left everyone in shock, mostly the women around his area.
Sources say the two were arrested on April 03 2023 (a day before this story was run) after a parent at Kampala high complained about Baluku indulging in revealing acts of homosexuality. Another source further reveals that its then after Baluku was arrested that he was forced to reveal his other counterparts who included a one John Kule, who was also rounded up while he was at his work place at IHK, commonly known as Kampala International Hospital in Namuwongo.
Kule was arrested at 11 AM and taken to Mutugga area zone police where he was detained and charged with a case of practicing and promoting Homosexuality.

According to Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga, the two will be charged with acts of public nuisance. “and for engaging in acts that stand against Christianity and our culture to engage in LGBTQ acts” Enanga said.
According to Ugandan’s Anti-Homosexuality Act, 2014, which was passed by the Parliament of Uganda on 20 December 2013, prohibited sexual relations between persons of the same sex. The act was previously called the “Kill the Gays bill” in the western mainstream media due to death penalty clauses proposed in the original version, but the penalty was later amended to life imprisonment. The bill was signed into law by the President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni on 24 February 2014, On 1 August 2014, however, the Constitutional Court of Uganda ruled the act invalid on procedural grounds.
It is after alot of considerations that later Parliament passed the bill that mouted alot of pressure to President Museveni’s office that he signed the bill into law.
It is then that the people caught practicing same sex conducts will face penalties that among them include deaths penalty.
