Minister of State for Microfinance and Small Entreprises Hon Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo is the treasurer for the NRM Buganda Caucus. This was during a meeting yesterday in Kyankwanze where the Members of Parliament and Ministers are attending the ongoing 10 day caucus.
Minister Kasolo was trusted to handle the finance of the NRM Buganda Caucus because he is exemplary after expertise he showcased in handling the Emyooga project for over 10 years since initiation as a Presidential Initiative on Wealth and Job creation.
The major aim of the Caucus is to polish the relationship between Central government and Buganda and also front NRM in Buganda as their go to party. The caucus consists of members that include the MP of Buvuma district Hon Migadde Ndugwa, Vice Chairman, Hon Nakazibwe Grania MP Mubende , secretary is Hajji Kazibwe Bashir MP Mubende municipality and Publicity and Hon Cissy Namujju Women MP Lwengo district.
On Tuesday at the during the Presidents’ Visit at the National Leadership Institute, the members of Parliament in front of the President expressed their gratitude and applauded Minister Kasolo for the progress and success of Emyooga and that even though he is not member of Parliament, he has put across projects that have helped to transform youths in different locations of Uganda like Kyotera and Masaka.
