ISINGIRO-The Police in Isingiro District have in custody an 18-year-old man, after being found in possession of suspected stolen goats.
SP Samson Kasasira identified the suspect as Kutaayo Ssebagara, 18, a resident of Kakunyu Cell, Rwekuubo Ward in Isingiro Town Council of Isingiro district.
According to Kasasira, Police officers on duty at Kahirimbi along the Isingiro-Bukanga road tried to stop a Toyota Premio Registration Number UBD 345E to stop, but the driver sped off to Kityaza. However, the Police pursued the vehicle due to its suspicious behaviour. The suspect and two other male occupants abandoned the vehicle at Mbaare Trading Centre.
Kasasira notes that in the pursuit, one of the suspects was arrested. A search of the vehicle revealed nine stolen goats inside. Additionally, the vehicle had been involved in a traffic accident, which is also under investigation.

He told our reporter today morning that the impounded vehicle is currently parked at Isingiro Police Station, and the goats are being exhibited, awaiting possible identification by the owner, as the Police tracks the other two suspects who remain at large.
