Aziz Azion showed he still got it when he left many revellers wanting more with his strings of love concert yesterday (04 October 2023) at serena hotel Kampala.
The show that was phased into three sessions, kicked off at 8:00 PM with new song artistry mixed with his old folk songs like Pian killer, Oxygen. Backed by Maestro band the melodies came soaring through the air as many sung along to the tunes each felt attached to.
It was all bliss as he sampled May by the Late Elly Wamala in ragtime jazz blues charateriesd by propulsive syncopated rhythm oh mehn it was such mastery.

The crowd was angelic as they sung along word for word while he hit the strums of his guitor, session after another.
The Host MCs Abby Mukibi and his co-host engaged the crownd, witht the first and second sessions having interlude break with a brief history background documentary from Mariam Ndagire and Benon Mugumya talking about his humble beginning.
It was a special moment for the man as many thought Aziz was limited to only songs they are used to like Nkumira Omukwano, Oxygen, Chocolate Girl and Pain Killer.
The self-baptized soft-spoken Prince of RnB gave revelers his best. Supported by artistes like Fresh Kid doing GNL Zamba’s session, Livingstone charmed the crowd and then came Jamal soaring the crowd into more and finally Rema Namakula.
A little skit with Keneth Mugabi crowned it all
Gates opened as early as 4 pm and tickets went for Shs 150,000 general and a table for Shs 3,000,000.
Background
Aziz Mukasa, popularly known by his stage name of Aziz Azion, is an RnB singer and songwriter. Born on March 4, 1984 in Fort Portal, he was raised in Kampala and studied up to form four, thereafter joining the music industry.
He has won various awards, including an RnB PAM award for his song, Nkumira Omukwano. He is a maestro on the guitar and instruments such as the piano and drums.
