She has always teased her audience with overflowing potential but new Ugandan singing sensation Debbie Batuusa may finally have made her singing mark with her latest singing project.

Named Kyekyo, the song is a sweet danceable banger in which the Ugandan diva tells the story of a loving partner who professes submission and commitment to her man. But the icing on the cake is its poetic lyrics delivered in simple, contemporary lingua which makes the song likeable and easy on the ears of every serious music lover.
With groovy but crispy beats, Kyekyo boasts perfect transitions which will take any music lover off their feet.

But what’s more appeasing for Debbie’s growing legion of fans is that in Kyekyo, Debbie displays proof of her vocal versatility as she perfectly controls her voice which freely switches anywhere between mezzo-soprano and contralto ranges— making her the ultimate deal for those who deeply understand good music.
Previously based in South Africa where she kicked off her nascent career in under two years ago, Debbie is back in the country to do serious music and give herself a chance to claim her place in the fast-growing Ugandan music scene.
“I realized that music is my greatest passion but I would pursue it to better heights by being close to my fans who have been a good inspiration to me thus far. I do not take the positive reception for Debbie music for granted and right now I’m happy that things are going as per plan,” she said while explaining her decision to relocate back home.
Already, she has about 6 songs including Gwenjagala, Olab’otya, Bwekiba, Tulumbye, and kyekyo’; which can all be accessed online.
