KABALE: Dr. Hilary Bakamwesiga Mbona, an aspiring member of Parliament for Ndorwa West, has urged parents and caretakers to put more effort into educating their children if they are to have a better future.

He made this call on Thursday 22nd of February 2024,while speaking during the sendoff ceremony of Mrs. Binagwaho Kedress in Rwaza village, Kibuga parish, Kibuga sub-county, Ndorwa West constituency.
Hilary said that once a child is educated, he/she cannot demand the parent’s land, and that it will even bring development in the area or locality and country at large. He has also warned drivers to avoid driving carelessly and to follow traffic rules in order to reduce or stop road accidents, which he said have resulted in the death of many people.
Dr. Hilary has commended the late Mrs. Kedress for being a role model and encouraged mourners to cherish their time on earth, advocating for love and peaceful coexistence.He has also called upon the public to prepare for climatic changes, saying that according to research by meteorological experts, the world will face hotter days and nights in the near future.
Mrs. Binagwaho Kedress, survived by one child and eight grandchildren, passed away at the age of eighty-nine.
