Musician Bebe Cool has held a meeting with the CEO of the National Arts Council of South Africa, the equivalent of the Uganda National Cultural Centre(UNCC), Ms. Julie Diphofa, together with her team. This was on Wednesday in South Africa.
The two discussed various issues, among which, the state of art & culture in the two countries, its effects on stakeholders, how art & culture can be used to positively impact the social & economic development of the young people.
The two also explored the possibilities of cultural exchange programmes, artists collaborations and much more.

“I am glad to announce that UNCC has began the quest of creating relationships with different foreign sister organizations that we can both learn from and exchange culture & art. While my trip to South Africa is majorly personal, I used this opportunity to champion UNCC work as a member of the board of trustees,” Bebe Cool said.
Bebe Cool is in South Africa working on the final stages of his latest album ‘Break The Chains’.
He returned last evening.
