There was a scuffle at Malaba boarder yesterday 14th September, 2022, when Ugandan high ranking security officers stormed the United Nations (UN) offices and tried to forcefully collect the consignment of artifacts and antiques said to have crossed from Afghanistan to one of the East African Community countries.

The Malaba border is located along the Northern Corridor in East Africa and is the busiest border in the region with more than 1,000 trucks passing daily.
An eye witnesses who observed the scuffle tipped us that the misunderstanding arose when security officers tried to collect the said consignment from the UN warehouse without securing the required legal documents that permit such consignments to cross the East African Boarder, and UN officials resisted the move.

There is much to be discovered as to why there was too much interest from both sides, which caused the bitter exchange at one of the world’s most respected UN offices.
Our sources are still investigating and waiting for more information on the incident and we will keep you post on any new development.
