The Judiciary Human Resource Department equipped newly recruited staff with knowledge and skills to enable them perform their duties effectively.
The one-day induction which was flagged off by the Commissioner Human Resource, Ms Apophia N. Tumwine, took place at the Judicial Training Institute, Nakawa.
The Commissioner Human Resource urged the new staff to ensure transparency, professionalism and integrity.
“In your day today work, you must exhibit a high degree of professionalism in your work if you are to remain in public service,” she said.

She said her office was committed to support the new staff to settle in, in every way possible.
Those inducted included sixty (60)Process Servers, twenty-six (26) Assistant Accountants and three (3) Computer Programmers.
Topics discussed included the mandate, structure and composition of the Judiciary, basic financial management, terms and conditions of service, and performance appraisal. Others were ethical conduct and customer care, and communication in the service.
At the end of the day, the staff shared experiences at their new work stations that included challenges and the way forward for better service delivery.
