In a bid to Save River Rwizi, Abahumuza Development Group, will this year hold yet again another edition of the Save River Rwizi marathon that will happen in Mbarara City on 30th July 2023. And the kit costs Ug 20k.
All the proceeds collected from the marathon will go towards cleaning and restoration of River Rwizi with the plantation of trees along the river banks to increase the groundwater level.
Seth Murari the chairman of Abahumuza Development Group says that ” for the love of Nature. The bond with humanity each one of us has a role to play, go out there and tell people about saving the environment.
