NTV’s long serving news anchor, the much loved Faridah Nakazibwe has left the television station, Xclusive UG understands.
Ms Nakazibwe was appointed as Head of News at NTV Uganda, effective 31 March 2021, replacing Josephine Karungi, who took up a job with the World Bank, as communications consultant.
Nakazibwe has also been a Luganda news anchor and a host of Mwasuze Mutya, a show that airs on both NTV and Spark TV Uganda, a sister TV.
According to our sources, Nakazibwe last day at the Serena based telly station was last week Friday.
It’s not yet clear where she’s headed.
