FDC’s Toka Kwa Balala singer Adam Mulwana dies from Poison

Popular FDC musician Adam Mulwana, better known for his Toka Kwa Balala, song is dead.

Mr. Mulwana died by poisoning, his party FDC has announced. He died from his home in Makindye last night.

Here’s a statement from FDC :

“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of one of our own, Adam Mulwana, commonly known as “Toka kwa balabala”.

Adam bravely battled the effects of poisoning that affected his liver until he peacefully passed away last night at his home in Makindye. 

He will forever be remembered for his iconic song “Toka kwa balabala”, the FDC campaign anthem of 2016. Adam’s contributions to the FDC, the Ugandan music industry, and the struggle for democracy in Uganda will be eternally cherished.

Today at 4:00 pm, his body will be brought to the National theater for public to pay their last respect, with burial scheduled for tomorrow at 2:00 pm in  Buziranduulu – Luweero.
