Kabale-In a show of overwhelming support, the residents of Kabale District have come together to financially back their hopeful woman Member of Parliament candidate, Hon. Enid Origumisiriza Atuheire, ahead of the upcoming National Resistance Movement (NRM) primary elections scheduled for July 2025 a community’s gesture that has boosted their confidence in Origumisiriza’s vision and leadership potential as she seeks to unseat the incumbent, Hon. Catherine Ndamira Atwakiire, who has served two terms over the past decade.
During her campaign launch event yesterday at Kabale Central market in Kabale municipality, Origumisiriza, affectionately known as Aunt Enid, expressed her gratitude for the financial contributions from her supporters outlining her commitment to revitalizing the local economy by focusing on household-level improvements where her strategy includes empowering youth and women by connecting them with government funding initiatives, establishimg tourism center and develop young talents thereby fostering economic growth and self-sufficiency within the district emphasizing her dedication to bridging the gap in segregated services among Kabale’s residents.
Her platform also promises to address disparities and ensure equitable access to resources and opportunities for all community members.
