On the 29th of September and the 1st of October 2023, Uganda had the honor of hosting the global icon, Fally Ipupa.
Fally Ipupa was slated to perform in Uganda in 2019, with events promoting company 243 Events paying him £85,000 and an additional £10,000. Unfortunately, he failed to turn up at that time. However, the music sensation finally made his long-awaited appearance in Arua on September 29, 2023, drawing a massive crowd of enthusiastic fans eager to witness his electrifying performance.
While Fally Ipupa put on a spectacular show in Arua, the story took a different turn when he performed at Kampala Sheraton Gardens on October 1, 2023. The turnout in Kampala was not as impressive as that in Arua, disappointing many who had expected the gardens to be filled to capacity.
Despite the turnout disappointment in Kampala, Fally Ipupa delivered an outstanding performance. During his shows, the Congolese crooner granted lucky fans the opportunity to join him on stage, fulfilling the dreams of many who had longed for such an experience. His mesmerizing dance skills not only left the audience in awe but also had them on their feet, grooving to the captivating tunes of this talented artist.
