Kampala’s ever-evolving social scene has a new heartbeat, and it’s pulsing out of Bugolobi.
When Vibe House quietly opened its doors on April 17, it didn’t opt for the usual ribbon-cutting theatrics. Instead, it invited the city in to feel it. What unfolded at MoTIV Creations Ltd wasn’t just a launch; it was an experience carefully designed to blur the lines between space, sound, and human connection.

Co-created by Talent Africa Group and MoTIV, the open house stretched from sunlit afternoon into a charged, neon-lit evening. The guest list read like a cross-section of Kampala’s cultural ecosystem—media personalities, influencers, creatives, and tastemakers all curious to see what exactly Vibe House had to offer.

Guests drifted between curated soundscapes and DJ sets, explored the venue through guided walk-throughs, and settled into pockets of conversation as the energy of the room subtly shifted with time. The space itself seemed to breathe, transforming from a laid-back daytime lounge into a vibrant nightlife hub without ever losing its rhythm.

For Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group, that fluidity is the whole point.
“Vibe House is about creating experiences that feel intentional and alive,” he said. “The open house allowed people to truly connect with the space, and the response affirmed that Kampala is ready for something this immersive and dynamic.”

That sense of intention carried through every detail. Rather than imposing a rigid structure, the event leaned into spontaneity, letting guests shape their own experience of the venue. It’s a philosophy that Chantal Ngenzi, Head of Operations at MoTIV, says is central to what they’ve built.
“We wanted people to experience Vibe House in its most authentic form,” she noted. “This open house was an invitation into a space designed for expression, collaboration, and unforgettable moments.”

As the hours slipped by, the crowd thickened, conversations deepened, and the music grew bolder, mirroring a city increasingly hungry for spaces that offer more than just a night out. Vibe House tapped into that appetite, presenting itself not just as a venue but as a canvas, adaptable, responsive, and alive to the moment.

Now officially open for bookings, Vibe House positions itself as a premium, multi-purpose space equally suited for corporate gatherings, curated cultural events, private celebrations, and high-energy nightlife experiences.
Tucked within the industrial-chic grounds of MoTIV on Old Portbell Road, the venue is already hinting at a packed calendar ahead, one that promises to reflect the shifting pulse of Kampala itself.
