Flona’s was a hired cook for the Blue Note band another section of different artistes managed by CRK Planet.
Her beautiful story came to life the day she sang Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ while cooking..
Counsel Richard Kisuze the CEO of CRK Planet on hearing her voice, he then immediately signed her onto his team of artistes and she has captured the community with her sessional alto tunes in the Afro-pop music genre.
She premiered her first international music tour, in Dubai where the grand finale was held at Chelsea Plaza Satwa during the 2nd edition of the Patwan Stars awards.
Her music vocals and entrepreneurship abilities as a young musician earned her the Woman of Distinction award 2021 from the Women of Valor foundation.
She has gone on to win various awards locally including;
- Most Talented Rising Artiste
- Breakthrough artiste
- Best creative Music video
- Best Breakthrough Artiste (Female)
- Best Stylish artiste all in the Famous Teens award.
She has also won Best stage performer, Act to watch, Most talented rising star, Best RNB song, Best video of the year, Best stylist, and Best stage performer, all from the HI SkOOL awards 2021/2022.
Her career was jump-started during the tough time of the recent covid 19 pandemic and she has had an opportunity to compile an EP (extended play) of 6 songs that are part of her album entitled ‘The Debut of Flona’. Her music is featured on all the globally recognised music platforms; YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, and so many others.
Her five music videos have had the privilege to be played on all celebrated local radio and television stations. She has had great reviews of her music in both local print and online media.
