William Pike launches KIIS FM in Uganda

Media mogul William Pike has launched KIIS FM in Uganda targeting the urban youth.

The station was launched on 29th August 2022.

It’s located at Capital Radio Limited on Plot 1A Cooper Road in Kisementi, Kamwokya.

Capital FM’s sister station has a morning show that will be done by Mckenzie from 6:00AM -10:00 AM, a mid morning show that will be done by Lisa K 10AM -3:00PM,  Caleb 3PM – 7PM and Adam from 7PM to midnight.

Speaking at the launch of the station, The Chief Executive Officer for Capital (2015) LTD Peter Jackson Mungoma said that the station was born of research to make sure that the youth are more entertained.

Mugoma urged youth allover Kampala to tune in and be served with all the hot music there is.

“Some people who have listened in say they are already hooked and can’t wait to listen to the rest of the shows,” he said.

Pike and his business partner Patrick Quarcoo also own Beat FM, a Luganda radio station.
