Since the invention of the Mic Check 1-2 theme night, Smiles Corner Hotel has become the go to place every Thursday.
The night has featured most of the top Ugandan musicians that have included Daddy Andre, Pia Pounds, Kalifah Aganaga, Nice Henry, Karole Kasita, KapaKat, among many others.
Season one of Mic Check 1-2 featuring the hottest Ugandan musicians was a huge success.
And to up the game, Smiles Corner management has introduced band music every Thursday for season two of the now popular night Mic Check 1-2.
According to management, this is aimed to cater for band music lovers and take a break from the monotony of the normal bar setting.
Mic Check season 2 kicked off a few weeks ago with the talented Mustard Band rocking revellers.
The band starts playing at 9pm till after midnight as partiers enjoy the night away. And to add sugar, Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) has introduced an offer where a customer gets a free beer after buying two bottles.
The night is hosted by Dj Ali and the supremely talented MC Ronnie.
As you read this, the night has already picked momentum with people attending in droves.
Smiles Corner Hotel, located on Kinawataka Road next to Standard Signs, is a fully functional leisure and hospitality centre with a fully stocked bar, gardens, accommodation, kitchen, sauna and steam.
