Actress and singer Abwalo Ruth Emegu aka Ruth Kurt has set up an important project that is aimed at skilling Girls in the slums of Kosovo, along Salaama Road.

The project teaches young girls from the ages of 5 and above on how to knit and do crafts.

In the first episode, the project is supposed to cover 30 girls in a period of two months then get another bunch…continuously.

The aim is to help girls who are out of school and those in holidays to learn technical things that will help in the future in this world of job scarcity.

Also it will also help them out of trouble by keeping them busy most of the time.

The Pollination project (TPP) helped her to kick off the project which they funded and the actress appreciated TPP for the help.

“My dream started its journey with the hand of TPP.

The girls are catching up though the activities being new to them is taking time for some girls to learn but i am sure with the interest they have, they will learn,” Ruth said.
