The Uganda National Musician Federation (UNMF) has partnered with top legal brains, Kampala Associated Advocates in a bid to have a firm copyright law.

The partnership has been announced by UNMF interim president, Edrisa Musuuza alia Eddy Kenzo.

“We are so excited to have partnered with KAA, the leading law firm in Uganda, as the Uganda National Musician Federation!” Kenzo announced today morning.

This partnership, he further explained, is a significant step forward for the Federation, as it will provide a valuable resource for musicians in Uganda. “KAA’s legal expertise will be instrumental in helping the Federation to navigate legal issues that arise in the music industry, such as copyright, licensing, and contracts,” Kenzo said.

This partnership will also help to protect the rights and interests of musicians in Uganda, ensuring that they are fairly compensated for their work.

Kenzo concluded: “It is important for organizations like the Uganda National Musician Federation to have strong partnerships with reputable law firms like KAA, as it will help to promote the growth and development of the music industry in Uganda. With this partnership, the Federation and KAA can work together to create a more favorable environment for musicians in Uganda, both in terms of legal protection and opportunities for growth.”
