KABALE-The Ndorwa west Mp Hopeful Simon Agaba launches Patriotic league of Uganda (PLU) football youth tournament in the constituency.

The tournament was launched yesterday on 6th of April 2024 at Janan Luwum Memorial School playground in Kamuganguzi sub- County and Katwaro playground in Ryakarimira town council Kabale district.

While speaking at the launch, Simon Agaba urged youth to play with discipline as a key aspect of success.  He added that the tournament will help to mobilize for the PLU chairman Gen. Muhoozi Keinerugaba as the next president after president Museveni. He said that as PLU they support president Museveni but are preparing for a peaceful transition of power when time comes for the next president.

He added that at the finals of the tournament, there will also be boxing competitions from professional Kickboxers so as they can motivate youth in joining the sport because the game is still lagging behind in Kigezi.

The winner of the tournament will win a trophy and 1 million cash prize while all the participating teams will win 20000 Uganda shillings.
