David Bahati, State Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives (Industry), Member of Parliament for Ndorwa County West, and NRM Chairperson for Kabale District, during the closing ceremony of the 9th East African Revival Convention held at Rugarama Hill in Kabale Municipality.

The convention, which brought together Christians from various countries, marked the celebration of 90 years since the beginning of the Revival in Kigezi and in his speech, President Museveni highlighted the significant impact of the Revival movement, noting that it has not only strengthened spiritual bonds but also contributed to tangible development through the establishment of schools, hospitals, and numerous community projects explaining that it has played a crucial role in uniting Africans beyond borders and denominations, leading to remarkable progress in education, healthcare, and other sectors commending the organizers and participants for their dedication to both spiritual and social advancement.

The event was graced by the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, His Grace Steven Kazimba Mugalu, who urged Christians to be living testimonies of transformation within their families and communities and dawing from the convention’s theme, “Let’s fix our eyes only to Jesus Christ,”

Archbishop Kazimba encouraged believers to remain steadfast in faith and to lead by example in promoting positive change.
