singer Juliana Kanyomozi has announced the death of her brother Edward best known as Kim Eddie.
In a heartbreaking message, the singer said that arrangements for his burial are already underway including a Virgil in memory of the departed brother.
“With deep sorrow, the family of the Late Prince Gerald Manyindo announces the untimely death of their Son, brother, Husband, and father Prince EDWARD FREEMAN KIM which occurred this morning 1/11/2023,” read the message.
“Burial arrangements are underway and will be communicated as soon as possible. There will be a vigil today at his home in Kawanda,” she added.
Juliana has five siblings and rarely talks publicly about them.
Her mother is called Catherine Manyindo, who is married to Prince Gerald Philip Manyindo.
The parents met when Mr Manyindo used to visit Catherine’s mother a lot and they developed a friendship. They got married in 1975.
Juliana also has a famous sister Laura Kahunde who is a recording artiste and a TV host.
Their love for music was inherited from their late father who was a drummer.
Juliana explained in a UG interview years back about her parents being supportive of her career decision
“My dad Prince Gerald Manyindo. He and I were the best of friends. I could literally tell him anything cause raising us, he’d taught us to respect him but not be afraid of him. My dad and I both loved music so much so we had a lot to talk about. I miss him every day.
“My mum Mrs. Catherine Manyindo is literally my pillar of strength and my inspiration. I’ve watched her throughout my life and she’s the definition of superwoman. She can do it all. She’s taught me so much about being a woman. If I could be half the woman that she is, I’ll be happy,” she narrated.
