During a celebration and thanksgiving service led by Bishop Emeritus George Katwesigye, Hon. Muhwezi highlighted the institution’s achievements in fostering discipline and excellence in examinations, impacting not only Kabale but also Uganda and the global community emphasizing the transformative role Kabale Trinity College has played in shaping the educational landscape.
Muhwezi explained that the college has set a benchmark for academic excellence and moral integrity, nurturing young minds to become leaders and innovators, commending the school’s commitment to maintaining high standards and producing graduates who excel both locally and internationally.
Despite these successes, Joab Tumwebarize, the Kabale Trinity College director outlined ongoing challenges faced by the institution since its establishment noting the pressing need for additional classrooms to accommodate the growing student population effectively but furthermore, the lack of adequate hostel facilities for boys which has necessitated a fundraising initiative aimed at constructing a 2.2 billion shillings dormitory on the school premises.
Tumwebarize says, this development is expected to alleviate the burden on students who currently endure long walks to and from school, often encountering difficulties along the way.
