In order to serve customers better, National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is phasing out physical bills and has introduced electronic-billing.
The exercise is being piloted in a select NWSC service areas in Kampala.
The electronic billing brings ease and convenience to the customer in accessing, receiving and managing their water and sewerage bills, account statements and much more.
A customer can now receive their bill by SMS on their phone, email address, or check it on the NWSC website.

How it works
It is very simple and convenient.
A customer will receive an sms message showing units consumed and their outstanding bill at the end of the month.
Attached to the sms message is a link, which when clicked, one can view their detailed water bill. This works for both analog and smart phones.
NWSC asked customers to update their contact details including an active phone number and email address to enable them serve better.
