Police in Mukono have arrested three suspects over the murder of Kamugisha Justas, a casual worker at Makipi Factory.
The suspects are Kabogoza Charles Kiwanuka, Ozambe James, and Mwayafu Julius Joshua, while Kazibwe Chrisisto is also mentioned in connection with the case.
Police responded to a distress call on April 19, 2026, and used a sniffer dog that tracked key evidence from the crime scene, including a cap believed to belong to the deceased, and led officers to a suspect’s residence.
Kabogoza was found hiding, arrested, and reportedly confessed to the killing, implicating his two accomplices who were later apprehended.
Investigations are ongoing.
