Nigerian vocal powerhouse Burna Boy
is arguably the biggest artist in Africa.
After winning a Grammy award for his 2020 album Twice As Tall, Burna Boy now dines with the very best in the World.
Burna Boy’s success has however not stopped Navio from sharing information about their relationship. They both love strong and clear lyrics.
“Burna Boy has always been my fan and a lover of my lyrics and it goes both ways. Everybody now knows Burna Boy but I think earlier on, I realized and recognized that his work is more than that of the other artists who just have a lot of time do ‘baby ooh baby ooh baby ooh.’ Burna Boy sometimes wants to get real lyrics and information to you, something that we appreciated about each other’s art,” Navio said while responding to a fan’s question on a local TV station.
In 2016, Navio featured Burna Boy on ‘Gbesile’, a song off his chosen album.
